This Romantic Wings collection for Microsoft Flight Simulator provides five different variants of the Messerschmitt Me 262, four different variants of the Heinkel He 162, an upgraded version of Peenemünde airfield (EDCP), ships and other objects.

All the included aircraft have been built to represent their real-world WWII counterparts as closely as possible.

Peenemünde (EDCP)

Included in this pack is a modification of the existing MSFS rendition of Peenemünde airfield (EDCP). It extends playing capabilities by creating new parking spots (Mil Combat 152 and 174), three ships and many WWII objects such as cars, aircraft, V1 and V2 rockets and much more.

Ships and other objects

The main ships are the two cruisers 'Bismarck' and 'Prinz Eugen', as seen in the Baltic during the 'Rheinübung' exercise.
They are escorted by a supply ship in the colours of the Hapag'.

Other objects include aircraft (Ju 87, Ar 193), trucks, cars, V1, V2/A4 (static and launching), Tiger tanks and much more.

Both planes fly well and are best described as accurate, but not photorealistic. For example, even fuses are implemented and you can eject the canopy in flight, in the Me-262, but the cockpit and exterior are last generation in appearance. The exteriors looks fine as long as you don't zoom in to look at rivets and seams. What earns this package its fourth star is the variety of variants. You get 5 versions of the Me-252 and they are all nicely rendered, with ample polygons to handle the complex curves. You get 4 variants of the He-162, including a forward swept wing version. The airbase looks more like a WWII reenactment gathering and the ships are inexplicably rusty, but still a fun addition, if you look at it as a freebie. Note that the aircraft and airbase are combined into a single folder, so you load all or nothing. I wish I could drop the airfield in my German bucket in Addons Linker, but no big deal. The planes are simply enjoyable to see and to fly, so I recommend this package!

Very high quality add-on and worth the price. I thought the ME-262 needed some tweaking, especially on the CG. A great surprise, however, was the ME-162. It's the first MSFS aircraft I felt absolutely no need to tweak. It flies like a dream and it's the reason I give the whole package 5 stars.
